How to Track Your Website's Revenue

Last Updated: Jan 17, 2014 04:40PM EST
To track your site's revenue, simply insert the following JavaScript code into the web page that displays the final sales total to your customers. This code should be placed in the <body> or <footer> of the page:

<script type="text/javascript">
   _springMetq.push(["setdata", {revenue: "REVENUE_VALUE_HERE"}]);
</script>

Your system needs to insert the revenue amount where it says, "REVENUE_VALUE_HERE". For example, if your sale is for $30.53, you'd want your system to spit out the code below:

<script type="text/javascript">
   _springMetq.push(["setdata", {revenue: "30.53"}]);
</script>

Revenue values from different systems:

3DCart: [total_noformat]
AspDotNetStorefront: (!ORDERTOTAL!)
Bigcommerce: %%ORDER_AMOUNT%%
Miva Merchant: &mvt:order:formatted_total;
ProStores: <ss:value source="$invoice.totalDue"/>
Volusion: $(GrandTotal)
Zen Cart: <?php echo $order_summary['order_total']; ?>

X-Cart: {$order.order.subtotal}

This list is continually being added to. Please contact us if you know what the revenue variable is for your system and you don't see it here!
